Domestic flights operate from most capital cities via:

  • Qantas

  • Jetstar

  • Virgin Australia

Once you land, you’re only 20 minutes from the festival site. You can:

  • Use the PITP Airpot to PITP shuttle (tickets available on our ticketing page)

  • Hire a car at the airport

  • Catch a taxi or rideshare

  • Team up with mates arriving at the same time

STAYING IN TASMANIA

We’ve got you covered for the full four days of Party In The Paddock, whether you’re setting up a tent under the stars or turning it into a full Tassie getaway.

CAMP AT THE FESTIVAl

Camping at Party In The Paddock is the best way to experience the festival. Live, breathe and dance in the paddock with your crew just a short stroll from the stages.

Bring your own tent, van, or camper setup, share the vibes with neighbours, food vans and sunrise views with access to showers, toilets, water stations and good times!

DON'T WANT TO BRING A TENT?

You asked, we listened! In 2026 we’re bringing ease and style to the party with our very own Tent Village and Glamping options! Both options mean you’ll arrive to your tent fully set-up and ready to get the party started.

PREFER SOMETHING AWAY FROM THE RIFF-RAFF?

If festival camping isn’t your vibe, there are plenty of comfy options nearby.

  • Airbnbs & motels in Launceston and surrounds

  • Boutique stays for a bit of post-festival luxury

  • Accommodation in Lilydale, Scottsdale or Legana (short drives from site)

Tip: Book early - local spots fill fast when the paddock is calling.

PITP AIRPORT SHUTTLE

Flying in? We’ve got you covered. A dedicated Airport Shuttle will run between Launceston Airport and the Festival Drop-off/Pickup area, with services scheduled around key flight arrivals and departures across all festival days. Airport Shuttle tickets must be purchased separately,  CBD shuttle tickets aren’t valid for this route. Seating is first-come, first-served with limited capacity on each service, so plan ahead and check the timetable below for departure times.

GETTING AROUND

PITP CBD BUS

Getting to and from the festival has never been easier with our regular shuttle buses running between Launceston College (Paterson Street) and the Festival Drop-off/Pickup area throughout the event. Your ticket is valid for any bus on the selected day, just make sure you’ve purchased for the correct direction of travel. For example, a Friday “Paddock to Launceston” ticket is valid for any service heading back to the CBD that day, but not the other way around. Seating operates on a first-come, first-served basis, so if a bus is full, you’ll need to wait for the next one. Check the timetable below for all departure times.

RENT A CAR

This year we are partnering with Leisure Rent, to bring you a discount on their fleet of cars, vans, and motorhome! Use code PITP at checkout for 10% off your booking!

Vehicles can be selected for pickup at either Launceston Airport or Hobart Airport, making getting from the airport to the Paddock a dream!
